What's Happening at Marineland


IMPORTANT TRAFFIC NOTE!

State Road 206, between I-95 and US-1 will be closed from August 1 - 4, 2010. This means that exit 305 from I-95 will not be available. Instead, please use exit 289 off of I-95 and take Palm Coast Parkway East to A1A North to Marineland (approximately 6 miles). Please note that this route involves a $2 bridge toll.


July 2 - August 14, 2010: New Operating Schedule and New Offerings at Marineland!

Marineland’s Dolphin Conservation Center is pleased to announce a special opportunity for guests to visit during extended summer hours from July 2nd through August 14th.  Marineland will be open from 8:30 – 5:30 daily, and general admission will be reduced to half price for visitors arriving at 3:30 or later during this time period.  A narrated ten minute window presentation will occur at 5:00 each day with professional animal trainers guiding the resident dolphins through a display of behaviors for the enjoyment of guests.  Beer, wine, and soft beverages will be available for purchase making this the perfect end to a beautiful summer day.


June 2010: Three Marineland Dolphins Turn 2 Years Old!

Tocoi, Aqe and Tomo celebrated their 2nd birthdays this month - and every two year old needs a birthday cake!

Nellie (Marineland's 57 year old Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin), and Petey (Marineland's Diamond-backed Terrapin), were the focus of National Geographic's Inside Wild!

June 23, 2010: Happy 72nd Birthday Marineland!

2/27, 2010: Thank you for joining us for Nellie's 57th birthday!

Nellie, the world’s oldest dolphin in human care, turned 57 years old on February 27th. There was celebrating and cake for everyone!

The average lifespan of a dolphin in the wild is 25 to 30 years so for Nellie to reach 57 years of age is truly a remarkable achievement! For more dolphin information, click here...
